Eden, is of 1/2 Turkish-Kurdish desert descent, and clearly takes after her coo heritage with her body type. She is longer than tall, has wonderfully strong, large feet and a very well muscled physique. Several of her ancestors were imported directly from Turkey and Kurdistan where the terrain is much different from the sandy deserts we commonly think of as Saluki domain. This rocky, steep ground has developed a Saluki format that is built for quick bursts of speed, agility and endurance during the hunt. This longer body is like a spring coil, the extra length of rib and loin giving them tremendous power and reach with each stride.

We are very excited that Eden has become part of our family. We are already formulating future plans for this little girl. She has undergone a critique by the SPDBS committee and is elligible for AKC registration. Once that is completed she will also be registered with the CKC and elligible to enter the show ring and the lure field here in Canada.
