We do not breed for quantity or for demand. Generally, we only breed a litter when we desire to add one to our own family of Salukis and breeding program. Pups not selected to stay within our home are placed with the utmost concern for their well-being regardless of show, coursing or pet home. A considerable amount of care and thought is put into the planning each litter and consequently we expect all puppies in litter to be of great quality and all should make great family companions, but for the puppies going to breeders and show/competition homes, conformation and performance must be also be considered. Puppies that will go to show and competition homes are chosen first for this reason. We try to match families with the puppy that best suits their requirements. We do not breed to produce specific or fashionable colours - we breed for quality in conformation, type and function so please don't ask us if we can provide you with <insert colour here> puppies. We do not have "ready to sell" puppies at any given time because we breed sparingly every 2-4 years. The Saluki is not a dog breed that is in high demand and we have no desire to overproduce. Most of our puppies are spoken for before they are born. Those who are seriously interested in one of our puppies will be screened thoroughly.
