As sometimes happens, dogs have their own agendas. This is certainly the case here. Xena, a lovely part desert-bred representative of our Faridaat E Litter who lives with her owner in Idaho was accidentally bred by her kennelmate while having a silent heat. Consequently, she is expecting puppies July 9. We felt it was our responsibility to try to ensure these pups are registered with a kennel prefix and find great homes so we will be acting as co-breeders on this litter. The parents are in the process of being registered with AKC now so that the pups will be eligible for AKC registration.
Despite that this was an accidental breeding, these pups should be suitable for show, coursing and companion homes and there may even be a couple smooths!
